Scope of parts made by GHEbavaria solid wood bending machines
| The STUZAMA type solid wood bending machines produce open bent
parts in one plane. Bending angle, clamping length and material thickness are depending on work piece geometry and the particular type of machine. Symmetrical parts can be bent by using the STUZAMA VP or STUZAMA I type. Out of these machines, the STUZAMA 1 type is more versatile because it can bend longer and wider parts to a higher bending angle. It can operate approx. one to max. two cycles per minute. The smaller STUZAMA VP type is a much faster operating machine with approx. three cycles per minute. The STUZAMA II wood bender can bend asymmetrical and quite thick parts, too. It is considered to be the most versatile solid wood bending machine. There are only few limitations to the wood species. Basically, most hard woods are suitable for bending while bending of softwood is considered to be quite difficult. |

| With optional
equipment, those bendings in two or three directions can be realised on
STUZAMA II as well as on STUZAMA H bending
machine. The picture shows two chair legs, each made from one piece of wood that has been bent in two consecutive steps. |

| Circular bendings can
be realised with the RUBIMA types in our product range. They can bend
open or closed rings, spirals or trapezoidal parts. Theoretically, it is possible to bend angles above 360°. In practical however, bent parts are usually not more bent than to an angle of approx. 450 °, because of the availability of long wooden parts.. |
